A fantastic addition to the hospitality industry in Galway City has just opened its doors. The Dean Galway is located near Eyre Square on Prospect Hill. It is the latest in a line of stylish boutique hotels from Press Up Hospitality Group and officially opened for business on Wednesday 27 April.

In keeping with the history of Galway, the hotel’s design incorporates unique structures, including a portion of the Galway to Clifden railway tunnel built in the 1890s, and a two-storey stone building originally built in the 1830s. These unique features have been meticulously restored and incorporated into the design of this brand-new hotel.

The Design

The Roy has a beautiful contemporary style, exquisite amenities and unrivaled views across Halifax. Designed by IBI Group, the facade treatment of the tower is handled in two distinct ways. We provided Flynn with our design-assist service and manufactured our TB50 curtain wall system and high-performance ST80 windows and doors. Our systems cover the majority of the 325,000 sq. ft. building, which was completed in July 2019.

Here at APA Facade Systems, our team is committed to excellent environmental practice towards a greener, more sustainable environment. Our aluminum glazing profiles are designed and manufactured to conform with industry environmental standards, helping you achieve a silver, gold or platinum LEED certification.
