The APA Facade Systems design team have just developed a new thermally enhanced ST70 HI casement window system. Using the centre seal from our original ST70 HI, the new system includes new polyamides and new foam cores resulting in a substantial increase in thermal transmission, producing a whole window Uw value as low as 0.98W/m²K.
This system is available in a variety of styles including top hung, side hung, tilt and turn or as a parallel sash. It comes internally or externally beaded with multi-point locking for added security. The versatility of the locking mechanism used in the ST70 HI window allows the designers to incorporate extra-large sashes in the building.
The windows durability and performance characteristics regarding acoustics and weather tightness meet with the highest BS/EN standards, independently tested by a UKAS approved and certified facility. The ST70 HI is the perfect solution for multi-level residential developments.
