Integer's new medical device manufacturing & R&D Facility
Medical device outsourcing manufacturer Integer are building a brand new medical device manufacturing and research development facility in the IDA Business & Technology Park, Parkmore East, Galway.
This new $30 million, 2 storey manufacturing and research/development facility will have 2 storey office and staff facilities and will create between 100 and 200 jobs.
Integer have stated that this new facility is required to meet increased demand for regional research, development and manufacturing capabilities as well as capacity for catheters and delivery systems.
Designed by TOT Architects and managed by Stewart Construction, the new building is spread out over 13,656 sq m. This includes the manufacturing area (10,610 sq m), ancillary office areas (2,445 sq m) and small utility buildings (601 sq m).
It increases Integer’s presence in Ireland, which spans over 25 years and includes a R&D centre in Galway and manufacturing facilities in Galway and Wexford.
Window & Roof Lights Ltd are installing our TB50 curtain wall system and high performance ST70 Hi windows and doors to the manufacturing facility and office spaces on this building.
Construction of the new plant is estimated to reach completion in late 2023.
