Gansevoort Row – Historic District – New York

60 - 74 Gansevoort Row, New York City

The award-winning Gansevoort Row project is located in the Historic District of New York City.  The old meatpacking buildings have been beautifully preserved and extended by BKSK Architects. BKSK kept the historic style of the meatpacking district, while adding a luxurious modern twist.

6 Impressive Window System Projects - Gansevoort Row

This project required a high-performance, durable window system that could withstand the harsh winter climate of New York while blocking out the noise pollution from the busy Gansevoort district. Aesthetically, the windows also had to integrate with the historical architecture surrounding the meatpacking district.

Chosen to meet these requirements was our ST70 Hi Window System. Fixed, curved, and tilt & turn windows were all installed on this project, complete with all window jewellery. This floor to ceiling window system is the perfect solution to ventilate the building while increasing natural light.

6 Impressive Window System Projects - Gansevoort Row - New York

Over the past 20 years, the Meatpacking District in New York has been transformed into one of the most vibrant, upmarket destinations in the city. Gansevoort Row is situated near the High Line – a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad.

Match Group, the people behind dating apps Match.com, Tinder, Plenty of Fish and Hinge have just agreed to lease out 45,000 sq. ft office space.

Congratulations to the developers Aurora Capital Associates and William Gottlieb Real Estate, Architects BKSK Architects and all involved with this beautiful development.
