Axis Health Care Assets, part of the Axis Group, and Primary Health Properties PLC (PHP) are investing €12.6m in developing a 50,000 sq. ft Primary Care Centre in Quarry Park, Enniscorthy.
The purpose-built Enniscorthy Primary Care Centre will comprise a three-storey primary care centre including; Mill Park Medical Centre, a pharmacy, and an ancillary medical unit. It will be the new home for the HSE and Tusla.
Services delivered from the centre by the HSE and Tusla will include physiotherapy; dental; paediatric primary care and disability services; adult mental health services; community nursing and other health services.
Nearly Zero Energy Building
The new centre, designed by Limerick City architectural firm, Quinn Architects, will be built with sustainability at the forefront of design. When complete, it will be one of the latest Near Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB).
Thermally Enhanced Systems Chosen to Meet Sustainable Requirements
This is the second Primary Healthcare Facility APA have worked on for Axis Group in the last couple of years after the completion of Athy Primary Care Centre at the beginning of the pandemic.
It’s expected the Enniscorthy Primary Care Centre will be open to the public in the first quarter of 2022.
