APA Facade Systems won the contract to supply our new ST90 window system to the £57 Million apartment tower at the Capital Quarter development in Cardiff.
Our installation partners Speedclad Ltd will install our new passive house standard ST90 Window to this 27 storey building, in the heart of the city. The eco-friendly window was specifically designed to meet the ever-increasing thermal demands of architects, design teams and their clients. It is perfectly suited for high-end multi-level residential projects like Capital Quarter.
The apartment building will play a central role in creating a local focal point within Cardiff’s Capital Quarter Development, delivering high-quality accommodation for the private rented sector. Associated Architects are the company responsible for the beautiful design of this tower.
It is being funded by the UK’s largest provider of private rental homes – Grainger. This huge development will see 307 apartments built in the centre of the capital. Alongside the private rental homes, the scheme will also deliver a range of amenities for residents including a rooftop lounge and a terrace overlooking the bay.
IM Properties, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned property companies is the developer of the scheme.
The 23-storey block is expected to be completed by mid-2022.
