Sustainably Designed, LEED Silver Certified
Certified to LEED Silver, our sustainably designed fenestration systems were installed in this project by Senator Commercial. Castlebrowne were as the main contractor on this project and worked closely with Kavanagh Burke Consulting Engineers to achieve this certification.
Kavanagh Burke Consulting Engineers who also provided architectural services to this project explain the challenges they faced.
“The primary architectural challenge of the project was to visually reduce the mass of both buildings while providing a simplistic and modern look matching the existing buildings in the area. Asymmetrical glazing shapes integrated into the overall wall solution were used to break long elevations and make them visually more appealing. While the appearance of the ancillary office blocks was enhanced by the inclusion of curtain wall panels with curtain walling and planar glazing.
This large-scale warehouse development was built on 23.8 acres site comprising two separate warehousing/logistics sites.
