Quintain, one of the largest mixed-use developers in Ireland, has commenced construction of the first phase of “The Crossings”, a new €500 million urban village development in Adamstown.
The first phase includes 279 apartments four and nine storeys, with associated amenities, public open spaces and landscaped gardens. Opposite the apartments there will be over 91,000 sq ft / 8,500sqm of retail space, home to brand new Tesco and Aldi supermarkets, 20 retail units and 5 restaurant outlets, along with a multi-storey car park.
Planning permission for the second phase of 185 apartments has been granted and further phases are planned for submission later this year.
This development was designed by Henry J Lyons and is being managed by Elliot Group and Manning’s. It will greatly enhance the range of amenities available to current and future residents of Adamstown. With 3,000 homes already completed in Adamstown, and over 5,000 new homes expected over the next 5 years, The Crossings delivers a focal point for the community to live, work and play.
