As its name suggests, the Sugarloaf Care Centre is located in close proximity to the Sugarloaf mountain, just off the N11 at Kilmacanogue in Co. Wicklow. It features amazing views of one of the most beautiful mountains in Ireland.
The latest elderly care facility by Silver Stream Healthcare Group is designed over three storeys, it will provide 119 bedrooms of the highest quality, with single and companion rooms and en-suite bedrooms. It also caters to residents that like to be at one with nature, with over 700m of outdoor space.
Ellipsis Aluminium are installing APA’s thermally enhanced ST70 Hi windows and doors on this project, the perfect solution to keep the residents warm and comfortable throughout the year. This is the second nursing home Ellipsis have worked on for Silver Stream Healthcare Group after they completed their Greenpark Residential Care Home facility in Dundalk last year.
It was designed by Reddy Architecture & Urbanism, and Smith + Kennedy Architects and developed by Monami Construction with Duke McCaffrey, and O’Connor Sutton Cronin providing consultancy services.
The Sugarloaf Care Centre has over 480m2 of bright and spacious amenity areas including dining rooms, day rooms and coffee docks, ensuring future residents and families will be able to enjoy quality time together.
Construction on the Sugarloaf Care Centre began in November 2022 and is expected to be completed by Q2 2024.
