The ST RL105 Roof Light is a high-performance roof glazing system designed for both commercial and residential buildings. It provides excellent levels of natural daylight and supports strong ventilation options. Design and Installation

We can manufacture the ST RL105 Roof Light to suit various roof conditions. It can be installed at pitches up to 10 degrees, giving you more freedom when designing roof openings. You can choose either manual or electrically operated opening vents. These vents help increase airflow and improve indoor comfort, especially in areas that need extra ventilation.

The system is ideal for spaces where natural light is important. It helps brighten internal areas such as stair cores, atriums, corridors and communal zones while maintaining a clean and modern architectural finish.

Performance and Testing

The ST RL105 Roof Light recently completed the CWCT Sequence B façade system performance test at Building Envelope Technologies. It achieved full compliance at a 10-degree slope with the following results:

• Air permeability: 600 Pa

• Water tightness: 1500 Pa

• Wind resistance: 3600 Pa

These results confirm the system’s suitability for challenging weather conditions and exposed locations.

In addition, the ST RL105 Roof Light passed the EN 12101-2:2003 smoke ventilation and roof light snow-load tests carried out by SE Controls. These certifications demonstrate the system’s ability to perform reliably under demanding safety and environmental conditions.

Applications

The roof light works well in commercial offices, schools, public buildings, multi-residential developments and private homes. It is especially effective when used to increase daylight in deeper floor plates or spaces with limited window openings. Because of its strong structural performance and ventilation options, the system is also suitable for buildings that require controlled smoke ventilation.
