The TB50 CFV concealed framed vent is a thermally improved window system that fits directly into the APA Façade Systems range of pressure plate and capped curtain walling systems. It has been designed to integrate smoothly with the façade, creating a neat and consistent external appearance.
The system combines strong thermal performance with reliable sound reduction. Because of this, the TB50 CFV works well in buildings that need energy efficiency and improved acoustic control. Its slim external look also helps maintain a clean and modern finish, even when opening vents are required within the curtain wall. This allows the façade to keep an uninterrupted glazing line across the entire screen.
The TB50 CFV supports glazing from 28–44 mm, making it suitable for both double and triple glazed units. This gives designers more flexibility when choosing thermal or acoustic performance levels. In addition, the glazing units bond directly to the frame using an approved structural bonding method. This approach increases the system’s strength and makes it suitable for high-level use. It also helps maintain the vent’s weather tightness and overall durability.
With its combination of performance, flexibility and clean design, the TB50 CFV provides an effective solution for projects that require concealed ventilation within a curtain wall system. For more information regarding our TB-CFV system get in touch
