The structurally glazed curtain wall TB50 SG system provides a smooth, streamlined finish to any building façade. It removes the need for external capping or fritting, giving the exterior a clean and uninterrupted glass surface. Because of its strong thermal and acoustic performance, the TB50 SG is suitable for modern buildings that require energy efficiency and a visually minimalist design.
The TB50 SG structurally glazed curtain wall secures each glass unit with specially designed toggles built into the central seal of the double-glazed units. These toggles hold the glass firmly in place, creating a secure and durable façade. In addition, the silicone-sealed joints provide excellent weather resistance and help maintain a flush external appearance. As a result, architects can create a façade that combines strength, high performance and a sleek visual finish.
A range of concealed frame vents can be built directly into the TB50 SG framework. These vents offer controlled ventilation without changing the external geometry of the façade. This feature gives designers and contractors more flexibility when planning natural ventilation or airflow strategies within the building.
The TB50 SG system has been fully tested to all required BS/EN and AAMA building standards. It also meets the CWCT performance requirements for systemised building envelopes. All testing is carried out in a registered UKAS-approved facility, ensuring the system delivers reliable, long-term performance.
