The handle sits at the base of the frame, allowing the user to operate the window with minimal reach or strain. This low-handle design ensures continuous accessibility from a seated or standing position. The tilt function provides secure ventilation, while the inward-turn mode allows easy cleaning. Because of these features, the Life Enhancing Window (residential) supports safe and independent living.
Modern Design and Strong Performance
Despite its accessible design, the window maintains the clean, contemporary style seen across the APA ST window range. It blends easily into modern homes, Lifetime Homes projects and inclusive residential developments.
The system includes multi-point locking for greater security and peace of mind. It uses thermally efficient polyamide cores ranging from 24–44 mm, helping improve insulation and indoor comfort. The glazing aperture ranges from 28–52 mm, supporting a variety of thermal and acoustic performance levels.
