APA Facade Systems are working with Season Master Double Glazing on the new Crowne Square development. A new integrated campus harnessing the business friendliness, lifestyle appeal and economic potential of Galway, located just five minutes away from the of the European Capital of Culture – Galway City.
We are working on buildings two and three, over 120,000 sq. ft combined. They will feature our TB50 facade system with a 300 mm bespoke designed cap, TB60 roof lights, and ST70 doors.
Both buildings are three stories high, displaying inspiring views of Galway Bay, Lough Atalia and Lough Corrib. The floor to ceiling windows will also substantially increase natural light within the building.
Crown Square is the first modern campus of its scale in Galway. This development by JJ Rhatigan & Company is set to accommodate 3,500 people. Its purpose is to allow Irish and international firms relocating to Galway to enjoy a motivating environment with a large focus on community engagement.
Designed by Henry J Lyons, it includes five office buildings, 288 apartments and a 175-bed hotel designed around a public plaza on 12.65 acres of landscaped grounds.
Sustainability is a key focal point for this project. The office buildings will be built to LEED Gold standard. They are designed to reduce the future environmental impact of the development. Each building will include all modern services, floor to ceilings heights, expansive reception areas and tenant amenity space.
